In 2022, I was approached by Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) to help document a collaborative project between Darigold and SPU’s water savings initiative, the Saving Water Partnership. The crux of the collaboration was SPU providing a rebate to Darigold for replacing the outdated cleaning system inside their Rainier plant. To help tell this story, I visited a salmon preserve on the Cedar River in Washington, and Seattle’s main water source, Chester Morse Lake, both located in the Cedar River Watershed. This video project spanned just under 2 years as the implementation process moved along and was finally finished in August of 2024. Videography and editing were all done by me.
